California Wildfire Disaster Relief Fund

As our members are impacted by wildfires, the UHW community stands besides our members in solace and support.

During these difficult times, we want to make sure those who have been affected have access to the proper resources and equipment that are not covered by insurance or FEMA.

If you have been affected by the California fires, you may qualify for a one-time monetary assistance for temporary emergency expenses. You must submit your application within 6 weeks of the date of the disaster.

To apply for the UHW Disaster Relief Fund:

• Submit an application        

As a part of the application process, you’ll need to provide at least one of the following documents: 

• Insurance claim documents

• Images of disaster

The SEIU UHW Relief Fund will review the completed application and a decision will be made on whether to grant funds to the applicant.
