Dialysis workers across California work hard to give patients the best possible care and keep countless people alive every day — but the multi-billion dollar dialysis industry does not value their hard work. Dialysis workers deserve respect, recognition, and fair compensation to provide for their families and to ensure clinics can recruit and retain quality staff.

Across the state, SEIU-UHW members are protected by union contracts and have a higher standard of living. Hundreds of dialysis workers already in SEIU-UHW are bargaining their union contract now. By going union, dialysis workers have the power to win raises that keep up with the cost of living, safer staffing levels, a real say in patient care, and respect on the job.

SEIU-UHW is one of the largest unions of healthcare workers in the country with more than 100,000 members who have a track record of winning better jobs and improving patient care at Kaiser, Sutter, HCA, Tenet and other facilities all across California. And SEIU-UHW members won a new state law that sets a $25/hour healthcare worker minimum wage that includes ALL dialysis workers statewide.

Dialysis workers deserve a better future — and it all starts by uniting in SEIU-UHW!
