At a time where healthcare workers are leaving the field at record rates, and amidst persistent challenges in staffing and below-market wages it is particularly disconcerting that Innercare  terminated experienced healthcare workers with deep roots in the communities they serve in Coachella Valley and Imperial Valley.

Each of them have all served at tremendous personal sacrifice to provide quality healthcare for their patients; Innercare’s patients. Each of them, along with many more Innercare workers, have faced unprecedented harassment and retaliation, resulting in the filing of more than 30 Unfair Labor Practice charges against Innercare with the National Labor Relations Board.

These terminations happened during a period when Innercare workers were organizing to have a real voice on the job to address the issues at Innercare.  They can only be seen as extremist anti-union activity and the highest form of retaliation and intimidation aimed at scaring other clinic workers, silencing them from speaking out.

Innercare receives federal and state funding, which comes from taxpayers. No publicly funded workplace should use tax dollars against workers who exercise their legal rights to form a union. Firing experienced clinic workers who bravely speak out about their working conditions and patient care concerns is both irresponsible and a great disservice to the safety of workers and patients in this community.

Sign this petition to show that you stand in solidarity with the ten clinic workers at Innercare and demand that Innercare management immediately reverse the illegal terminations and reinstate the Innercare Eleven to their previous positions. This fight requires all of our support!
